1st Coverall Co Ltd was founded in 1996 by Harry, a highly skilled ex-Savile Row tailor, and his daughter Sadie. Starting out in a small garage, Harry crafted boilersuits and work trousers by hand, laying the foundation for one of the UK’s most trusted suppliers of uniforms, PPE, and bespoke workwear.
Sadie knocked on doors to win customers, while Harry focused on craftsmanship. Over time, we expanded from modest beginnings to a modern 8,000 sq ft facility in Maidstone, where we manage all aspects of our operation in-house - from embroidery and printing to packing and distribution of custom workwear.

With over 28 years of expertise, we’re proud of our roots. Harry, now 80, continues to bring unmatched knowledge of fabrics and design to our team.
A legacy moment? Harry helped craft the school uniform for King Charles during his apprenticeship at Hawes & Curtis on London’s Savile Row - a testament to our enduring commitment to quality.
