Meet the Team
Welcome to our Meet the Team page, where you can get to know the individuals behind Eurosafe.

Andrew Egerton
CEO
Andrew is our Chief Executive Officer at Eurosafe and leads the commercial strategy and growth of the business.
He heads up one of Europe’s largest trading alliances specialising in occupational health and safety products, workplace clothing, and professional safety-based services. With a strategic mindset and deep industry knowledge, Andrew plays a key role in shaping supplier relationships both locally and globally, helping to ensure Eurosafe continues to deliver trusted, high-quality solutions across the safety sector.
Alongside his role at Eurosafe, Andrew also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) - the leading voice of the UK safety industry. Through this, he supports the promotion of the highest safety standards and the ongoing development of PPE regulations.
Andrew is known for building strong, genuine relationships at every level and is passionate about delivering value and excellence to Eurosafe’s customers, partners and members - while driving the business forward with integrity and ambition.
Reflecting on his time at Eurosafe, Andrew shares:
“I’ve been with Eurosafe for five years, and it’s incredibly refreshing to work within a group of 22 like-minded businesses, all aligned in our journey and our ambitions. The collective energy is powerful and genuinely motivating. As a group, we’ve evolved so much over the past few years - and we’ll continue to grow. It’s amazing what can be achieved by a very motivated and dedicated head office team of just six people working for the greater good of the group.”
One standout moment for Andrew came at the Eurosafe event in June:
“I remember looking around at our event with over 250 people there in the evening - the branding on point, the guest speakers, the energy in the room - and having a real moment of realisation of just how far we’ve come as a group. It made us incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved.”
Outside of work, Andrew lives in North London with his wife of 17 years and their two teenagers. He’s a big sports fan, a keen golfer, loves films, and is a proud Chelsea supporter. Having worked in the industry since 1998, his passion for the sector is as strong as ever.
Mark Abramson
Import and Bulk Product Manager
Mark is our Import and Bulk Product Manager and brings with him an incredible 39 years’ experience in the PPE industry. His expertise lies in sustainable sourcing, managing import pricing and supplier payment terms, and sourcing a diverse range of products from across the Far East. Mark’s deep understanding of global supply chains plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality, responsibly sourced products are available to the wider member network.
Mark is also a safe pair of hands when it comes to regulatory compliance. He oversees CE and UKCA certification for all sourced products, working closely with reputable test houses to ensure everything meets the highest safety and quality standards. With his wealth of experience, steady approach and commitment to doing things properly, Mark is a hugely trusted and respected part of the team.
Mark joined W.A. Blyth in 1987 and was part of the business when Eurosafe was first established in May 1988 with just four members. Since re-joining in 2023, he can hardly believe how something that began as a way to compete with the likes of Greenham and Arco in the PPE market has grown into a phenomenal £215m+ group. Now comprising 22 members, Eurosafe is an engaged, forward-thinking organisation and its journey is something Mark finds truly amazing.
When he’s not at work, Mark is a devoted family man who loves sunny holidays, relaxing in the hot tub, and sharing his home with an abundance of very cute kittens.

Janine Reid
Head of Operations
Janine is our Head of Operations at Eurosafe and has been a key part of the business for over 13 years, having joined the team in 2012.
She oversees the smooth running of all administrative, financial, legal, marketing and HR functions at our HQ, while also coordinating both internal and external meetings and events. Behind the scenes, Janine is the organiser, problem-solver and steady driving force who helps keep everything running seamlessly. Guided by her belief that “how you do anything is how you do everything,” Janine brings care, consistency and high standards to every aspect of her role.
With a background in hotel and event management - including experience with the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group - Janine brings exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and a calm, considered approach to everything she does. Her commitment to delivering outstanding standards perfectly reflects Eurosafe’s ongoing drive for continuous improvement.
Janine says that every Eurosafe meeting adds another memorable story to the archives. While professionalism always comes first, downtime is often filled with laughter, pranks and genuine camaraderie. She describes it as a privilege to work with a group of inspirational, down-to-earth business owners and always leaves meetings feeling incredibly lucky to be part of the team.
Outside of work, Janine has a lesser-known talent for rescuing injured wildlife - particularly seagulls. She’s become rather adept at safely corralling them into cardboard boxes (sometimes bringing traffic to a standstill) before handing them over to a local rescue charity. Her love of animals runs deep; during her time living in South Africa, she and her husband rehomed 22 kittens. Despite growing up on hunting expeditions on the back of a Land Rover in the African bush, the only living thing Janine has ever shot is an orange!
Vicki Taylor
Business Services Co-ordinator
Vicki is our Business Services Co-ordinator and has been a valued member of the team for 7 years, having joined in 2018.
A Royal Navy veteran with 25 years’ service, Vicki brings an incredible level of discipline, organisation and dedication to everything she does. After moving back to Devon from Hampshire, she found her way into the PPE industry and quickly became a key part of the team.
She plays a vital role in ensuring the day-to-day running of the business is smooth and efficient. Her varied role spans administration, marketing, data collection, accounts, website maintenance, and managing communications between our growing network of members and suppliers. If something needs organising, coordinating or keeping on track Vicki is usually at the heart of it.
Her experience, reliability and calm, can-do attitude make her an essential part of the team.
Reflecting on her time here, Vicki says:
“No two days are ever the same and that’s exactly what I love about working here.”
There have been plenty of memorable moments along the way, many of them right outside the office:
“Watching holidaymakers and Dartmouth visitors attempting to park their cars while avoiding dive-bombing seagulls on the hunt for food never gets old! And Elvis leaving the café opposite the office definitely won’t be forgotten.”
She also agrees with Andrew that the Eurosafe+ 2025 event was a real highlight - hard work in the lead-up, but hugely rewarding to see both members and suppliers fully engaged during the day and enjoying themselves at the Gala dinner.
Outside of work, Vicki has plenty of passions. She’s a keen MotoGP follower, having travelled to Austria (via a motorbike tour) and Malaysia in recent years, and enjoys motorbike touring with her husband. She also spends time walking her two “mad” spaniels, follows Exeter Chiefs, and is a proud Liverpool FC supporter - which, as she was born there, is absolutely allowed!

Terri Wells
Data Specialist
Terri is our Data Specialist at Eurosafe and brings with her over 10 years’ experience in PPE product data.
Her key responsibility is to centralise and maintain high-quality product data for the group - a crucial part of supporting our members, suppliers and wider network. Previously at Rubix, Terri managed product data across more than 10 million product records, making her highly experienced in handling complex data systems and working across teams and countries.
Terri’s expertise goes far beyond data alone. Her background also spans product management, quality and continuous improvement, operations, customer service, and transport and logistics, giving her a brilliantly well-rounded understanding of how the business works from every angle.
With her structured mindset, attention to detail and collaborative approach, Terri plays a vital role in keeping Eurosafe’s data accurate, consistent and future-ready.
Reflecting on what guides her both professionally and personally, Terri shares a quote from her late dad that has stayed with her throughout her life:
“Be strong and maintain your own standards. What other people do, you have no control over.”
This has become a grounding principle for Terri, especially when navigating challenging situations - a reminder of both her strengths and the values that guide her.
One of Terri’s most memorable early moments at Eurosafe came on her very first visit to Head Office in Dartmouth:
“I walked in expecting a friendly but formal meeting with Janine and Vicki - and instead found Janine on all fours trying to coax a rescued baby seagull into a box! As a lover of all things furry or feathered, the ice was instantly broken. I jumped straight in to help, and I’m pleased to report the little guy made a full recovery. In a strange way, he became my first bonding moment with the Eurosafe team.”
That day reminded her that while a job should be enjoyable, it’s the people who truly make the difference.
Outside of work, Terri is a big lover of art and still paints whenever she can. During her student days in Huddersfield, she even hosted life drawing classes - though, as she’s quick to add, never the model!
Jess Nel
Marketing Executive
Jess is our Marketing Executive, leading on marketing, communications, content, brand and project activity - and helping shape how the business is seen both internally and externally.
From campaign planning and content creation to brand development and communications, she plays a key role in bringing the story to life and ensuring messaging is clear, consistent and engaging across all channels.
With a strong background in marketing, digital content and campaign management - including experience in visual effects and film localisation - Jess brings a unique blend of creativity, structure and strategic thinking to her role. Having worked on complex, fast-paced projects, she’s well-versed in managing multiple stakeholders, aligning messaging across audiences, and delivering work that balances creativity with clarity.
A big part of her role focuses on forming and refining marketing strategy, ensuring activity supports wider business goals while staying true to the values behind the brand. She’s particularly passionate about storytelling - from showcasing the people behind the scenes and the member network, to highlighting the culture and purpose that sit at the heart of what the business does.
Whether it’s launching new initiatives, supporting the wider team, or finding new ways to connect with members and partners, Jess is driven by collaboration, strong relationships and meaningful, well-considered marketing.
One of Jess’s most memorable early moments came just one week into the role, when she attended her first member board meeting:
“After just a week, I found myself on a Tower of London tour with almost all of the members. It was such a brilliant way to introduce myself - filming the entire tour, seeing the ravens, and finishing at the Beefeater pub definitely helped break the ice.”
Outside of work, Jess loves travelling and seeking out new adventures, whether that’s discovering new places, trying something unfamiliar, or embracing the outdoors. She’s a big fan of wild river swimming, enjoys boxing as a way to switch off and stay energised, and also practices massage therapy, bringing the same people-focused, considered approach she uses at work into everything she does.

Jonathan Hall
Chairman
Jonathan is our Chairman at Eurosafe, having previously served as both a Director and Vice Chairman before stepping into the role of Chairman.
Alongside his role at Eurosafe, Jonathan is also Chief Executive at Consumables Solutions Limited, where he has worked for an impressive 27 years. Through his pioneering family business, he has spent nearly 3 decades delivering added-value, integrated supply chain solutions, building a reputation as a highly trusted and respected partner across the industry.
Being Chairman shows his long-standing dedication to the PPE and safety sector, as well as the strength of his leadership, strategic vision and collaborative approach. He works closely with the Board and wider Eurosafe team to build on the Group’s strong foundations, supporting growth, innovation and the continued delivery of value for members.
Sharing his view on what Eurosafe means to him, Jonathan says:
“Being a business owner can feel isolated at times. Being a member of Eurosafe eases that burden and provides access to a network of like-minded people (and now friends) who share the same issues, the same concerns, the same aspirations. We all want to carve a niche and create businesses that add value to our customers, our suppliers, our employees, and, ultimately, ourselves. What I’ve found with Eurosafe is that we all share those same agendas, and we all work collaboratively to help each other achieve that.”
Jonathan has also enjoyed plenty of memorable moments with the group - from encouraging a fellow (now unnamed!) business owner to climb onto a statue at a board meeting in Birmingham (resulting in some very creatively relocated shoes), to meeting comedian Hugh Dennis and sharing a coffee with him ahead of the Eurosafe+ 2025 event. Jonathan describes him as “incredibly funny, refreshingly normal, and a genuinely lovely human being.”
Outside of work, Jonathan’s main passion is family life. He loves spending time with his wife and children - and with Geoff the sausage dog, affectionately known as “Barky B******s” thanks to his very vocal personality.
Jason Mathias
Vice Chairman
Jason is our Vice Chairman and brings with him a wealth of leadership experience from his role as Managing Director of Mathias & Sons, a family-owned business supplying PPE, workwear, and corporate wear across the UK and Europe. He has worked at Mathias & Sons for an impressive 27 years.
The business specialises in tailoring solutions to meet the exact needs of each individual customer, using innovative digital technologies to control cost and compliance. With deep technical expertise in both workwear and PPE, Jason and his team act as trusted partners to their customers, delivering practical, high-quality solutions across a wide range of industries.
As Vice Chairman, he heads up the Supplier Engagement Team, while also working closely with Jonathan Hall to help drive the Group forward. His strategic thinking, hands-on industry knowledge and passion for collaboration make him a hugely valuable part of the leadership team.
Jason’s approach to leadership and long-term growth is summed up perfectly in his own words:
“When you put customers first, success takes care of itself.”
Jason has been a member of the Group for over 15 years, and his long-term commitment reflects the passion he has for both the industry and its future. One of his most memorable moments dates back to one of his very first board meetings in Edinburgh, around 15 years ago. As Jason recalls, “We’d had a very civilised dinner (as you do) and were strolling back to the hotel when we wandered past a nightclub called ‘Why Not.’ Well, that was all the encouragement we needed.”
Steve from Arden Winch, Simon from Simon Safety, Tony from O’Sullivan Safety, and Leanne from Regency all stopped, looked up at the sign, and in perfect unison said, “Why not indeed?” It was midweek (student night, as it happened) and as they reached the front of the queue, the doorman looked them up and down and said, “Evening, Grandads. Got your pension books?” That probably should have been the warning.
A few hours (and a few too many tequila shots) later, it was time to call it a night. The next thing Jason remembers is his phone ringing with Chris Ross from JK Ross on the line, wondering where he’d got to. Jason had slept straight through his alarm and was late for the board meeting. Let’s just say… it was a long board meeting.
Away from work, Jason has a surprising sporting claim to fame. He once played club cricket against Shane Warne when Warne was a spiky-haired teenager living in a flat above the bar of a cricket pavilion in Bristol. Jason even managed to put him in the brambles - hitting him for six - a couple of years before Warne bowled Mike Gatting with what became known as the “Ball of the Century”.
