International Women's Day 2026
This International Women’s Day, we’re proud to celebrate the women shaping the future of the PPE industry across the Eurosafe network.
For many years, PPE has been seen as a male-dominated sector. But across our membership, that narrative is changing. Women are leading businesses, driving innovation, strengthening operations, and influencing the future of safety and protection across the UK.
To mark International Women’s Day 2026, we’ve created a special series highlighting the voices and leadership of the women within our network.
We begin by spotlighting our own Janine Reid, Head of Operations at Eurosafe, who shares her perspective on leadership, industry progress, and the importance of representation in PPE.
Alongside Janine’s feature, we’re also proud to showcase the women leading our member businesses through a dedicated video bringing their voices together, including:
-
Karin Brocklebank, Managing Director at Deltawaite
-
Louise Harris, Managing Director at Fenn
-
Sophie Petrie, Managing Director at KEY Engineering & Hygiene Supplies Ltd
-
Sarah Keighley, Finance Director at KEY Engineering & Hygiene Supplies Ltd
-
Sadie Cunningham, Managing Director at 1st Coverall
-
Becki Ward, Managing Director at Kirklands
But this celebration goes further. Across our membership, women have also shared their photos and personal reflections on what International Women’s Day means to them - offering insight, inspiration, and a powerful reminder of the progress being made across our industry.
This isn’t just about recognition.
It’s about visibility.
It’s about leadership.
It’s about progress.
And it’s about demonstrating that when women lead in PPE, the industry becomes stronger, safer, and more innovative for everyone.
