Eurosafe is delighted to welcome Suffolk Safety Solutions Ltd as the newest member of our network, bringing our membership to 23 independent organisations across the UK and Ireland.
Formed in January 2025, Suffolk Safety Solutions is a strategic partnership between Bristol-based Mathias & Sons Ltd and Suffolk-based Portable Space Ltd. The business is the primary supplier of personal protective equipment (PPE) to the Sizewell C nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast.
The partnership combines Mathias & Sons’ specialist PPE expertise and experience supporting the Hinkley Point C project with Portable Space’s strong regional presence and local reach. Together, the businesses are applying lessons learned from Hinkley Point C to provide an innovative, sustainable and fully tailored end-to-end PPE solution for Sizewell C.
Adam Lane, Commercial Director at Mathias, has been a key driver behind the development of Suffolk Safety Solutions, supported by an incredible team effort across Mathias & Sons, joint venture partner Portable Space and the businesses’ valued supply chain.
Alongside delivering a PPE solution specifically designed around the requirements of Sizewell C, the partnership is committed to creating a positive and lasting impact within the region. This includes supporting the local economy, creating jobs and apprenticeships for local people, delivering meaningful social value and contributing to long-term sustainable growth in Suffolk.
